Call for Scores
The main purpose of the Call for Scores competition is to empower emerging Romanian composers to write music, so that they can enrich the national and international contemporary repertoire.
The Call for Scores competition is open to young composers, aged 18 – 40, who hold Romanian citizenship. Each competitor can participate with one or more compositions.
The work with which they will participate in the competition must be original, not previously performed in front of the public.
The maximum duration of the work must be 10 minutes.
Registration does not involve any participation fee and is done via e-mail, sent to the address: romaniansymphonyorchestra@gmail.com, in the subject of the e-mail mentioning: RSO Call for scores – PARTICIPANT NAME.
The composition will be attached in .pdf format (max. 20 MB), along with the personal CV (max. 1800 characters).
The selection process is coordinated by the artistic director Cristian Andriș and conductor Cristian Măcelaru or Gabriel Bebeșelea are also part of the judging committee.
